Led 7 install in Bay

I put a new timer in a bay im upgrading from the timer in the mech. room. I have 6 bays , 2 of which are already upgraded so i copied how to wire it just to see if it works in my last bay before i rip out the old boxes and put new ones and coin vaults. one problem though , the new timer works out in the bay fine but in the mech room
i just unhooked the wires to the old gs 75 gin san , and i have a push to start button that gives the timer a quarter credit each push of the button , and that no longer works , id like to make it work like it did before ,

what do i have to do in that room to make that work again ???? thx Dave , Michigan.

The LED7 coin input references 24VAC common while the old, antique GS75 references 24VAC Hot. On the push to start you should have(if this is our system) a red wire and a red wire with green tracer stripe. Disconnect the red wire and run a wire from that terminal of the button to 24VAC common. The "push to stop" button will no longer work at all with the LED7

Im not sure what you mean by push to stop , im trying to make my push to start button in the mech room give a 25 cent credit with each push to the timer out in the bay like the other 2 upgraded bays do , and it did with the old timer.. thx

What are you trying to do? If your trying to give pulses to the timer so you can wash down the bay just use a Dixmor remote.

oh i dont have no remotes , the two bays with dixmore timers and older , ones a big old one , 3 x 9 or so , other is an led 7 ,
yes im trying to wash bays or start for customers , where can i get a remote , i will end up with 4 led 6 s , and one led 7 and an old one not sure who makes it , the big one that is. thx

I just sent you a link as to where I get my remotes. They'll work with the Dixmor LED-6 & LED-7 timers.

You need to connect the brown wire from the timer to the red/green wire to the coin acceptor and to the red/green wire that goes back to the room, then your push-to-start button will work. The stop button inside won't work and should be unhooked, but you can still clear the time from inside by pressing and holding the push-to-start button for two seconds.

If this is older Ginsan equipment, it had a "Push to Start" and a "Push to Stop" button. They were both tied to the GS75. The push to start shorted the coin input to give it a coin pulse and the push to stop shorted the overload on the timer to shut it off.
