Is anyone a member of one of the tag look up services that charge a monthly fee? I have a single Maryland tag that I need the vehicle owner's information. But I do not want to join a monthly service.

I will pay someone's 1 month if they will provide it for me. PM me if there are any takers.

Thanks in advance.

What kind of dastardly deed did the person do that you need his information for?

Destroyed the coin boxes on three vacuums. Found the vehicle and tag from pictures I posted with a reward. Can't get the cops to do crap. So I am taking it upon myself. A$$hole stays just 5 minutes from my house, but the vehicle is registered in the next state. So I am trying to use a little intimidation to make them think I have actual facial photos, when I do not.

Want to send a letter to the vehicle owner to let them know vehicle was used in the commission of a felony; and I am going after them.

Well welcome to modern police people. Most want to fill out a form and go to the doughnut shop. I had a break in at a wash I owned and called the Miami cops. Three hours later he shows up. When I asked why it took so long to get there, he says, and I am not making this up, "Listen bud, I only make $90,000 per year. Do you think I'm going to bust my butt for this?" Not all are this crass, but a lot are. If you know where the perp lives, I suggest confronting him face to face, assuming your bigger/stronger/faster than him. Then go there some night and pour brake fluid on his car. Revenge is mine, sayeth the Lord, and sometimes He asks us to lend Him a hand.

In my younger days, I would agree with you. But in our stupid, liberal society if I did anything to him, I would be the one getting charged while the vandal walked free. It is sad, but true.

It really is sad. The world that we thought we knew has been turned upside down. A friend of mine here was driving down the street and saw a punk kid steal a woman's purse. He got out, chased the kid down, took him back to his pickup and hogtied him in the bed. Guess who got arrested that day? And there were many witnesses. A had a stringer hit one of my washes a couple nights in a row, and the local police would not do a simple stakeout for an easy arrest. So I volunteered to them that since I have a legal concealed carry permit, I would be happy to do that for them. Well, let's just say that didn't go over well either. So sometimes you just have to pray foe the Hand of God to smite them.

Last year I had the police at my car wash 18 times, I only go there 3 days a week or I would have them there more. Nothing ever happens to any of these scum bags. The problem is the court system is broke, they don’t have the money to put anyone in jail for the small crimes, theft, vandalism etc. the only time anyone goes to jail is for a crime against a person or when a weapon is involved. The court system is reluctant to impose any fines against most these scam bags because they know that they’ll never see the fines paid, they don’t a dime to their name. This morning I got 2 black bags of garbage. When I opened them up to see who they were found I found the guy’s pay check stub from Walmart, he makes a whopping $9.95 an hour, it’s no wonder why he’s dumping his garbage at the car wash, he doesn’t make enough to survive. Luckily my business is not in Peirce County Washington. My brothers business is in Pierce County, when he calls 911 to report a crime they give him a case number and tell him to go online and file a report, that’s the end of Case. No officer will respond, even with beautiful video. Last year his theft and vandalism losses were in the neighborhood of $40,000, some of which were covered by insurance. I’m sure a letter to one these scam bags would get a typical response of (use your imagination) as to how they would respond. This morning 4th of July I got a call from a Laundromat customer. They broke into his changer and stole the Hopper and the cash, beautiful HD video of the scum bag, the police wouldn’t come out, $1700 loss.

WashnVac & others,

Well put. Here is my view ... elected people at every level usually somewhat have great influence as to how laws are enforced or not enforced. It seems to come down to the best possible communication ... so the people are properly informed as to how elected people use both their legal position & their "bully pulpit" the best. Yes ... it also comes down to the both elected & appointed judges. Same applies to how the basic principles of our USA Constitution are looked at & in the proper light. Can't the elected police commissioner in your cities show decent leadership &/or be replaced with someone better? I vividly remember back when I was in high school, the police commissioner actually included as part of his speech to our "homecoming gathering" a "sense of urgency" & "consequence" in terms of preventing potential vandalism to any & all local businesses ... not just residences & government buildings. There is "no question" that more of that type of well chosen communication along with enforcement would help!!!

Not all of us are in a position to run for office ... I really feel that anytime we are in a position to influence those who are & the media ... in the best possible way ... we should. That includes influencing other voters in the best possible & least invasive way needed.

Call the closest TV station and have them do an "Investigative" report as to why the police aren't doing their job. Interview you, the police, the criminal. Might make a good story!
