soapy

I usually try to work 3 day holiday weekends due to unique sets of challenges I often encounter. Over the years it seems that more unusual things happen on these weekends. So far this weekend I have had one lady call and tell me that one of my automatics sprayed mud all over her car during the presoak cycle of the wash. When I explained that we use the same water that she drinks and bathes in and all we do is add some soap she became beligerant. Her car was clean but she did not approve of the mud being used to clean her car. ... One person called explaining that he used a credit card in a SS bay and did not stop the billing charge on his credit card when he was finished so it charged him the full $10 maximum. He thought he should only have to pay the minimum $2.50. I asked him why he did not read the 4 different signs located within 6 inches of the credit card reader that explained how to stop the charges. He said he later came back and read them but did not read them the first time he was at the wash. Past years have lead to things like animal gut piles, large stumps to big to be moved by hand and of course piles of mud so deep you start with a backhoe to clean a bay. It does keep these weekends interesting.
