I need to replace my shampooer hose because the little red button is broken out. Any ideas on where to buy one of these for less than Coleman sell them for?

I tried that one other time and it was so difficult that I ended up buying a new hose. Is there any easy way to replace the button?

Bypass the switch all together.
I did that years ago.
Just leave the hole that holds the switch empty. I blacked out the wording about pressing the switch.
Only problem is the foam comes out as long as the shampoo timer is on but that way more customers notice the carpet shampooer.

You can replace it with a much less expensive Fragramatics hose and brush - I use them on our Doyle Fresh Impressions combos (Actually I order all the components except the steel-braided hose and assemble them with blue GoodYear Neptune). Instead of the flare elbow, you can use a large strain-relief in the opening. The Doyle units use a large aluminum compression one that should work.

I would replace the button only. The trick is to not bent the tiny plastic tubing. Keep the Hose stretch and toward the ground. Use long nose pliers and a small screwdriver. Lastly patience is key. Break off the button first. then put new button back on then tubing to tiny barb. Be careful not to break barb off. Done that before.
