LW 4000 VT Error help

MDrost1

Member
Folks,

I have been getting the following VT errors intermittently:

Position 1, LED 1
Position 2, LED 5

Here are my questions:
What causes these issues?
Should I be worried about them, is it a dire situation : )?
What is the remedy for the errors?
Do they affect my wash cycle in anyway?

Thanks!

We first need to understand what the errors or warnings are. Position 1 is for Errors and Position 2 is for warnings.

Position 1, LED 1 = Right Ultrasonic Not Responding. Yes, this can affect the wash as it may not be measuring the right side of the car.
Position 2, LED 5 = Re-synchronized Count. This is just a warning, but may want to keep an eye on the wear in the trolley rollers, prox, pulse count bar or relay in the JO as they can all be a culprit.

Kris,

Thanks! Had Woltco out yesterday. Checked x30, sanded debris off pulse count bar and realigned the x30 closer to the bar. Still getting the alert. What relay effects this???

Also, he recalibrate the right eye. So far so good. However, it was recalibrate a month ago. Thanks!

There is a Trolley Input Interposing Relay (RY33A) located in the JO cabinet that you would be looking for.
