LW4000 u/c eyes

Are the Laser 4000 photo eyes off the shelf, or proprietary?

Got an undercarraige set that is acting up. Can I drop a treadle switch in place temporarily?

not sure, but i use one of these http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-3698-ramped-floor-switch-9w-x-24l.aspx to trigger my underbody and it just lasts and lasts.

i'd install one if you're able.

They came from the factory with carlo gavazzi eyes. Windtrax sells them. Have you tried cleaning the surface of the eyes? Have you tried increasing the gain on the amplifier?

Where is the amp for these things? This machine is new to me-bought location at Sheriff's sale. Still on a learning curve.

I am used to the Telco eyes at all my other locations.

I did clean them. Is the amp similar to a Telco amp? This will help me find it.

The amplifier for the ub eyes are located in the J2 box. this is the box located in the bay on the driver's side. It is the " main " junction box in the bay.

They are similar to the telco amps, as are the eyes, but Carlo eyes cannot be used with a telco amp. You can, if you wanted to, you could switch to telco eyes and amplifiers, as a set.
