LW4000 Undercariage Eyes

Has anyone had issues with the undercarriage eyes used on the LW4000 when they are in line with the sun. I have lots of windows in my bay and when the sun gets to a certain point in late afternoon it is affecting the eye function. It wont trigger the undercarriage and i get an undercarriage eye fail. I've turned up the amplifier but its already too high because it will trigger the undercarriage as soon as the wash signal is sent. Any help is appreciated. Kevin

When I have had this issue, I put 3/4" or 1/2" rubber hose(can't remember diameter) about 2" in length over the affected eye. The hose should fit snuggly over the nut that holds the eye to the box. Seemed to work for me.
