I have this unit:

Mine is the older unit that only dispense three products. Anyway, is there a way to put a different acceptor in there that will accept my new dollar coins instead of quarters? It currently just has the toggle type switch. I don't think there is much that I can do, but I wanted to check first before writing it off.

You want to use a short drop slugbuster and add a 24v transformer. You'll also have to make your coin slots a little bigger. I had 2 of these machines and upgraded to the new ones. If you can do it. They're alot easier to work on, dispense 4 fragrances and in my case increase revenue.

What did it run you to do one unit? I need to see if it will actually make sense to upgrade from a revenue generating standpoint.

Thanks,

It?s not hard at all. You?re probably looking at about $200 to put in a multi-coin coin acceptor. You should already have 24 volts inside the unit. I?d try to use a long drop coin acceptor instead of a short drop, you have more choices in coin acceptor with a long drop coin acceptor.

I have some extra acceptors that I have in my bays and vacs. I guess I should have thought this one through a little more. It should work the same shouldn't it?
