Mark Vii - Error Code 710

Anyone know what causes an error code 710, d-1-0 on a Mark Vii Aquajet GT 700? Any help would be appreciated.

Go through the error log on the CMI. You probably have two errors that the display is combining. I'm betting you have a d-1-0 and a 7-0-0. You may have both travel limits on at the same time, 7-0-0. I'm not sure, but I think d-1-0 may be, track length set too short, which would be related to the travel limits. Check your TL inputs. If indeed both entrance and exit are on, you most likely have a bad TL switch. If the gantry is sitting at home, the bad switch should be the entrance side switch. If the gantry is stopped at the entrance end of the bay, most likely the home switch is bad. If you can see the lights on the switches themselves, just look at them. If one is on and not sitting over a TL plate, it is most likely bad. Another scenario could be that it is reading a random piece of metal in the bay, like a can blown out of a truck or something. If this is indeed your issue, you will need to re-train your gantry to the track length after repairing.

It looks like it may be the entrance prox switch. I pulled it from the controller and was able to get the gantry to move one time and the horn stopped beeping. I will replace the switch and recheck. Thanks!

EDIT: Verified it was in fact the entrance prox switch. Replaced, relearned the gantry and it works great. Thanks a ton I.B. Washincars!!!
