First of all, I like to thank all the memers here who help. That has resulted in me saving over $3000. So truly thanks to all.

So here is the situation.

I have softwash w92. I have manual that describes everything in great detail but somehow can not manage to find error code "62 09".

62 is displayed at top and 09 at bottom of display card on cpu. Manual does not mention anything if im not wrong about this code.

I powered down the unit overnight and rest day later throws same code without moving a bit.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

SW Indiana melon fields.
I've owned a softwash for 7 years. Those error codes are almost impossible for an average guy to interpret. Maybe with a combination of an abacus, GPS, and a German Enigma machine they can be deciphered, I don't know. That being said, I get a decent amt. of failures ending in 09. Usually I will have a tripped drive motor overload. Starting at the top, it should be either the 2nd or 3rd one. Check there first.

Whenever my machine (different from yours) will not move, I test it in manual mode. If it doesn't move I check the braker (overload) and it is usually tripped. Then you need to determine what is tripping it.

You've got to get better at troubleshooting.

Is there an input indicator for the prox? If so, is the machine communicating properly with the PLC for that specific prox input/wire/circuit.

Is there a relay associated with this particular circuit? Relays can stick open or closed when they get old.

good luck and eat a sandwich.:)

It was right at wheel scrub cycle when it went down. one of the plc has one flashing electrovalve label "7". Should this be on at all time or when its in start position it shuld be off? it was triping thermal protection before so maybe it is related. but it didn't do it this time and well......

Pindicator is has 007 on it if that has anything to do with it?

down for almost week now. This will be last mark 7 unit. No more ever........

time for brew I guess.

A week :eek

After a weeks loss of revenue I think it may be a good idea to call a tech in and have it fixed. Then call a cab :)

There is no tech out here. However there is a quarter of a tech in town and that would be me. So at the start should there be anything displayed on pindicator. I think there is there and thats whats im focusing on right now.unless someone tells me something different. At this stage I'm willing to anything and everything

I don't recognize that error code either. If it shut down at the wheel scrub I think I would check the prox switch that recognizes when the hub scrub is completely retracted into the machine. If the hub scrub got stuck or the sensor doesn't recognize that the hub scrub is where it belongs it will shut the machine down.

I am with you. I will never buy another machine from Mark 7. This machine is difficult to troubleshoot, difficult to get parts for(my distributor won't even stock them), and a pain to work on. I take a share of the blame because I should have researched the machine and distributor more thoroughly. Mark 7 could take a lesson from PDQ, Washworld and others and let the customer call them for help. It would significantly decrease my animosity towards Mark 7.

Wish I could be of more help,

David
