John,

Randy's info is good and maybe helpful to you. The nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar coins are all programed into the changer when we receive it, so I am not sure there is any problem with the programming. I called my Mar's repair guy to ask him what might cause this problem. He tells me the most common reason may be that the coin sensor (a round silver looking item that senses the coin) is loose (you can move it) or the sensor is very dirty. If the sensor is loose you can hot glue it down; if the sensor is dirty the repair guy suggest using foaming window cleaner and a Q-tip.

If these actions do not help, the changer may need to be sent in to be serviced and cleaned. I can give you the address of my repair company if you want to send it in yourself to have the changer "tuned up" to be like new.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the long delay in response. I tried to reprogram and now it is givng me a tube error which prevents me from going further. I have a place not far from me that can repair it. Also, Can someone help me order some numbers and letters for my selections? Over time the get hard and fall out.

Any info on that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Buy the brother p-touch label machine or similar. I just use the black on white tape but there are other colors too. Works great for selection labels in vendor and other uses at home or wash.

John,

The vendors are using all numbers now for selection and pricing. We can get the correct label sheets for letters and numbers if you send me the serial number of the vendor. You can also stick the labels that fall out back in place by putting a dab of silicone on the back.

I'd go with the P-Touch - they're cheap now and very useful aside from labeling vendor shelves.
