Meter door decal

Hey all,

Ive had to replace the decal on the meter door before and needless to say it was difficult at best. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions to make this easier? Is the a chemical out there that will dissolve the glue making it easier to scrape off?

3M Adhesive Cleaner, just keep the glue wet for about 30 seconds and it will scrape off easily with a razor blade or sharp putty knife.

but to get the decal off in the first place get a corner up and use a heat gun to heat it and pull at the same time. Then just the glue is left and you can use the 3M or goof off, or other glue remover at your convience.
