I am in The Northeast.. Good news is I used very little methanol this year by adding a changeover system. The money was well worth it.. I do however have about 55 gallons of Methanol left over from the winter.

My question is. Should I cap it and store it for next winter as I know prices will be super high.. Or should I just tip it down and run it out and buy next year. Teh methanol is in a plastic 55 Gallon drum.

It wasnt your changeover system that saved the methanol, it was algore.

methanol is just a form of alcohol, it wont go bad. Just remember that it is flammable, so don't store it next to your barbecue grill, or out in the sun all summer... use common sense.
