MicroCoin acceptors - Difference between Q3130-DO and Q5242-DO?

Does anyone know the difference between these two models of MicroCoin QL acceptors? Q3130-DO and Q5242-DO?

I have a bunch of the Q3130s but they are out of stock everywhere right now so I found a used acceptor and bought it but can’t seem to get it to work since I guess it’s a slightly different model number? Everything about it looks the same to me.

Tried googling a bunch and couldn’t find any info on these two models and thought someone here might know?

The MicroCoin QL Q5242-DO acceptor is made for the vending machine industry. They won't work as a replcement for Q3130-DO, something to do with interface software.

MDB vs. coin pulse, they aren't compatible with each other.
