MicroCoin QL testing

Hey guys, I have a large swath of MicroCoin QL acceptors that I picked up a couple days ago From Car washes that went fully cashless and I recently also had picked up 1 (one) VAL361 single channel credit accumulator board, I currently don’t have a timer to test it on but I do have a 24 V AC power supply,

How would you guys test a large selection of them?

Best way would be to setup a test jig to quickly swap out microcoin units to test quickly. You would basically just be unplugging and plugging units into the val board to test after you setup your test jig. You should have a spare timer on your shelf, not just for this, but as a backup to quickly get your bay running again in case of a timer fault. What kind of timers are you running in your bays?

I would be interested in some of those if you are looking to sell some.

I’m probably gonna start standardising everything with the industry standard parts, as my Vacuum uses a mechanical coin acceptor that accepts tokens only that are a specific size and shape while the Wash uses a locally made and manufactured coin mechanism with a built-in timer and the shampoo that I’m rebuilding uses something that looks like a microcoin SP so I’m using three different coin acceptors from three different manufacturers

I’m gonna purchase a 24 V timer to test the coin acceptor
