Micrologic and Open Edge

Hello fellows..

I have a question regarding partnership of Micrologic with OpenEdge.

My problem statement "Paying over 4.5% in credit card charges to open edge".

Does Micrologic work with any other payment processing co? or are they mutually exclusive?
Is this the rate (upwards of 4.5%) what other operators are also paying?

Any suggestions to my problem statement?

Did you ever get an answer to this? Open edge was acquired by Global Payments and they are notorious for hidden and junk fees, raising processing fees in a monthly statement because most business owners never look at their card processing statements. Openedge has horrible reviews and are bad about offering tiered processing rates. I’m in merchant services (I know, we get a bad rap but I’m actually one of the good guys!!) I’m trying to work with a local car wash/lube business in OKlahoma with two locations using Micrologic/open edge. I can’t find if we can integrate through Micrologic and I can’t get an answer. We have access to numerous gateway, that’s all open edge is doing but can’t find what gateway. I’d be more than happy to offer you a complete analysis of your statements. I hate when then solutions don’t offer businesses options for who they can use for processing because i always find the “preferred” processor is taking the business over the coals.
