I am trying to help a customer who has a Micrologic input card and the pulse light stays lit and only changes intensity. This is for a belt conveyor. This is a new install and the conveyor shipped with a two wire prox that had a ground wire on it. We switched out the prox and input card and got the same result. The controls were wired up by another group so I'm dealing with coming in behind someone elses work. We switched the prox with a 3 wire and wired it up as a 3 wire pulse. If you remove the prox and wave any metal object it makes the pulse light blink. If it is installed and the conveyor is running it stays lit and only changes intensity. Seems like almost something is blasting the input card with signal/noise causing this issue. I also thought that maybe the network connections may have been plugged into a POE port by mistake by the Micrologic guys on site.
