If you read the above article carefully ... it also states coins. It appears like there will be between 600 & 800 of these more capable ATMs by Chase Bank alone by the end of the year.
Just think ... the ATM owners can easily put $2 bills in a canister instead of $1s to satisfy the percentage of people who insist on paper rather than their new choice (option) of more durable & recyclable dollar coins.
I view this as a positive for both our industry & for the common good.
