Does Motor City actually make Reflex in their factory because the machine looks vaguely familiar like an older Istobal or WashTec design?
As for cotton soft wash material, the Chinese or Koreans, I can’t remember which, tried to peddle this stuff over 15 years ago at the Expo. It didn’t catch on then. Now everyone is using it.
However, I like some of MC’s stuff especially its tire shiner.
I guess the question is “why” the in-bay because there is already too many in-bay manufacturers in U.S.
I see no innovation or technology here that would capture value any differently than what is already being done with other makes and models.
Motor City core business is selling and installing conveyor equipment.
I’m not seeing why they came out with it especially when Sonny’s dumped their in-bay.
How much does it cost because Motor City prices aren’t inexpensive.
They have 3 2007 brand new with every option
And 1 year warranty
I don't believe it's manufactured any more
But all part interchangeable.
I've only talked to one guy so far.
Said it was good cleaner but kinda complecated to work on.
Motorcity says its easy and tons of tech support and parts etc etc?
They do still have the demo set up in warehouse and I'm gonna go have a look said they would fire It up and "train me on it"?
So if I make it to to Motor City I'll keep ya informed
$30,000 for new in-bay is great price regardless of make or model.
However, I would compare this to buying a brand new Pontiac G6 leftover for 1/2 price.
Not a bad car but they don’t make it anymore. After owning it for three years, it won’t be worth salt.
Also, OEM’s are required to make parts available for ten years. After that, owner is at mercy of aftermarket prices or parts are unavailable or junkyard trip.
Motor City is a good company and they do give good tech support but I think the Reflex was actually manufactured in Korea. I would not be too sure about having parts available for so long and if you are not mechanically inclined with some experience working on an automatic I am not so sure this deal is for you. I agree with Robert. I am not sure the price justifies the decision.
Ok it's made in Korea originally call Mr glow roll over
Made for motor city?
Found one guy in Michigan who bought a wash that had one
Says it cleans ok . Tears antennas off dodges. Very complicated and freezes up alot. Gonna go have a look just for s and giggles. Keep YA posted
