Segment the market.
There is the one percent crowd (outlaws). Forget them, they like dirty bikes.
There are the enthusiasts, folks that ride 6,000 or more miles per year.
Most people in this segment are more than hobbyists meaning many do their own maintenance and repairs and sometimes custom work.
I’ve been riding motorcycles since 1972 and always used a dry method to clean my bikes. As far as I’m concerned, it’s simply easier and faster to dry clean.
Largest segment now is weekend warriors.
This group might be more inclined to use an automatic wash but most of them don’t ride during the week because they have day jobs and businesses to run.
Sounds like carwash business thought doesn’t it - big potential on weekends and not nearly as much during the week.
