Im almost finished with new 5 bay-SS with 1-Automatic car wash. Are there any preparations i need before opening besides making sure equipment works:)??? Useful links would be appreciated!

2) Anyone use any kind of coating to protect the wall tiles from aging and appearance?

3) As of now vacumn has no canopy other then small one hovering over the equipment. Do yall think it is worth to put one in? just afraid people are too comfortable in vacumn station they dont wana leave and other security issues but then again, are they gona vacumn in the dead heat??

Thanks

Yes, you'll have campers in the shade, detailing and cleaning in the heat of the day. You can add more vacs in uncovered areas or add more canopy designated for detailing (Or both). You'll have customers vacuuming in the rain if you have a canopy over them.

The wall tiles themselves won't age, but they'll get dirty. I have yet to find anything that will stick to protect them, but it's easy to clean. I bought some commercial floor wax and put several coats on one wall and it looked really good for about a week, then it started turning gray and peeling.

If you happen to have glass windows in the bays I would put a clear film (anti-graffiti film?) over it to protect them from the harsh wall and window cleaners you are going to use.

Well, I wish I have tiled (linoleum) my office and wish I had coated the eq. room floor with something so it didn't stain (chemicals) so badly.
