We have received new documents and a new fee structure from USA Technologies that will apply to all future e-Port credit card installations. Here is a summary of the new fees which are based on the average vend price in the machine:
$1-$1.49----3.95% + $0.05
$1.50-$1.99----5.95%
$2.00-$2.49----5.10%
$2.50-$2.99----4.5%
$3-$3.49----3.75%
In addition to these percentage increases, there will be a one-time registration/activation fee of $30 for each device. The monthly fee for the e-Port will remain the same ($9.95) for "cashless" only daily reports and will rise to $12.45 per month for the "cashless and CASH" reports that you are receiving now. Those of you that are already installed and receiving reports will stay where you are for now until it comes time to renew your contract with USA Technologies.
It would be in your best interest, if you have a credit card already installed on your vendor, to keep the average price of your products as high as you can and still maintain sales volume. Those of you who are selling token packs and/or token note packs out of your vendor are raising your average vend price and therefore enjoy the lower percentage fees.
