The newer S3 control boards in our ShurVend vendors allows the programming of the refrigeration system and the LED lights (See LED retrofit post below) to be turned off or dimmed to save energy use in the vendor. This EnergySensit system records the activity patterns of the vendor, then adjusts temperatures and dims the lighting when the vendor is not actively vending product (usually during the night time hours). Patterning the use of the refrigeration system can save the operator some serious money on energy costs. The operator has complete control of the settings for these savings through the programming of the vendor options.
There are S3 conversion kits available that can be installed on any of the ShurVend machines no matter how old. If you want to consider these savings and upgrade the vendor to make it operate like a new one, please contact us and we will be glad to give you the information.
