ShurVend announces the addition of four (4) new models of our vendors that have been redesigned to target those washes that are in small market areas or are in markets that do not need the High Security vendors that we normally sell.
These vendors are not installed inside the security cage that is necessary in high risk areas, but do have security features added that allow them to be placed outside in most areas of a wash site. We have addressed the weak spots on the vendor that are targets for vandalism and theft and the weatherproofing that the vendor lacks as it comes from the factory.
THE SECURITY FEATURES ADDED ARE A POLYCARBONATE WINDOW (LEXAN), A WRAP-AROUND MASK, A STEEL T-HANDLE COVER FOR A SECOND LOCK, A WEATHERCAP FOR WATER-PROOFING, AND LEG SECURITY BRACKETS SO THE VENDOR CAN BE SECURED TO A CONCRETE PAD OR A WALL.
The Wrap-Around mask is a special feature that not only protects the control panel on the front of the machine, but protects the side of the door where the thin sheet metal is all that stands between the bill validator and the power tools of the vandal or thief.
The price point is much lower than our High Security vendors and still provides some security and weather protection for the vendor. Only you, as an operator, can make the decision whether you are in a high risk area or a medium risk area.
