Ok need a little friendly advice. Started out simple. Just wanted to replace meter box doors. Old ones had rotary switches that were shot. Only 2 of 5 worked then another one went south. So I closed all bays thinking I could just get new ones. Well all suppliers are 4 to6 weeks lead time. So now I have a closed wash. It ain’t funny. Any suggestions other than a 5 gallon gas can?

Mac I'd sugest that you bite the bullet and replace the rotary switches. I don't think your new meter doors will come in 4 to 6 weeks, it'll be more lioke 10 - 12 weeks. If you do decide to replace the rotary switches use a Electroswitch brand rotary switch.

Well the gods must be smiling on me. Got ahold of Carl Hart who was the builder on the Magic Wand boxes. He has 3 brand new assemblies never been used. And can ship now. Think I’ll make a cocktail.

Can get new boxes in about 3 weeks. Still too long to keep shut down. Ah the joys of ownership.
