measure the voltage under load, with the load you might be getting only 18-12. You would think that with all the moving around, you'd find a loose wire.

i am scratching more then my head
installed 2 hot & 2 neutral wires
checked and rechecked all connections
every thing works ok except for $ coin
if i hold the face plate in my hand $=2min
if i install the plate $=30sec
only two wires going to plate hot & neutral
this thing acts like its afraid of the dark
i will call parker in the morning
just when you think you seen it all..........

definitely sounds like a grounding or short when the face plate touches the meter box, it works when its isolated out in your hands?n maybe a wire pinched in between the coin acceptor and the faceplate? or something in the acceptor itself. good luck Im sure you'll find something quirky.

called parker this am
they told me to adjust the sensitivity of the first coin [qtr] a little less
it solved the problem
each bay has its own transformer
this might be why different plates did the same thing
live and learn when i am 150 i will be in good shape

thanks for the help
