New sign at road and logo

Howdy yall
I am about to order a sign to replace the old one and thought I would post it up I here any opinions. Also, I have included another logo that we are working on for other promotional items. Our goal will be for the buffalo to be similar and colors to be the same. Let me know if you have any comments please.

I ordered the logo from fiverr and the designer struggled with the buffalo look I wanted but my local sign guy is going to help me out with it I hope.

Thanks for the input. I could make one of the banners say “car wash” but it is pretty obvious driving by that it’s a car wash. I really feel like the sign is going to more help with the branding I’m going to try to push with other signage at the property and on social media pretty hard. The round logo when we get it finalized would be for air freshener, printed towels, shirts and that type of stuff.
 
I like the logo but it looks kinda mean for a car wash. You could capitalize on it though by putting it on some custom "under 24 hour surveillance" signs. "The Blue Bison is watching you....."(you have to say that with a deep Batman voice)

I do like that....my sign guy is supposed to work with me to get some signage together with the buffalo and some creative stuff(he is creative and I am not!)Thinking of call the automatic the"Bison Blaster" or something like that.
 
It's illogical thinking to say 'it's pretty obvious it's a car wash'. It may be to you, but the customer needs a clear, big CAR WASH sign by the road. Your logo is secondary. Your name is secondary. I see many business people making this same mistake; name in bold, logo prominent, then the tiny print saying what the business actually provides. Your logo is not very clear to me, is too busy. Think of a car driving past a 40mph. The buffalo theme is cool, yes, but maybe a plain blue siloutte against a light colored background. Whatever you choose, CAR WASH should be large, bold and clear and in the customers' face.

Look at some famous car wash chains and you'll see what I'm talking about.
 
I appreciate the feedback even though I kinda disagree with you a bit. My feeling is the sign is not there to announce that there is a car wash here, you can see it’s a car wash if you can see the sign. I think the sign is more there to show the car Wash you have been driving by for 15 years is under new ownership and exciting things are happening here.

Please let me know your feedback, I am thinking if someone sees an instagram/Facebook/ google whatever ad then they drive by or look for the car wash, they can recognize the sign.

Also, can y’all recommend a few car wash franchises? I will check their websites out but we don’t have any around here
 
This is my sign. You can see how small my logo is. This is your first car wash right? It's OK to have your opinions and ideas and I encourage that but you're on a forum to ask input from guys been doing it for a long time.

I agree with Waxman. We have a new location with a sign that looks beautiful at night but during the day it gets lost in the sky. I have sent people over to try the wash and will get phone calls 9/10 times stating that they are lost because they are looking for the sign. What is obvious to us isn't obvious to the consumer.
 
Great if your business is selling "Blue Bison" Otherwis car wash needs to be more prominent.
