Are there any other companies that make a vacuum pumper mounted on a trailer besides Ring-o-Matic?I had a model 750 which was ideal so the same size or close to it.Thanks

This is a follow up to me looking for another company that makes vacuum pumps.Ring-o-Matic went to selling through distributors instead of direct sales that I had done when I bought my first pumper. The past week has been a real pain in trying to give my money away to make the year-end deadline for tax purposes. I made several calls and sent several emails. I finally reached a very responsive and customer oriented distributor in Minnesota, within 30 minutes, the deal was totally wrapped up.

I did a search on different manufactures of small mud suckers and was going to post them but got tied up. Which company did you go with? Did they give you a decent price? I saw one the other day that was made by Ditch Witch. I had heard that Ring-O-Matic had been sold.

I've had a Ring-O-Matic for probably 20 to 25 years and it is a great machine! The motor has been replaced; pump replaced and this last summer replaced the rubber gasket in the back door. I called them and they said they would send me out a door and I would send in my old door so they would recycle it. After talking to them I decided to take it off and replace the gasket in my shop. Worked fine and still pumping.

I got my ring o matic in 1994, it was a used model I bought from a car wash owner that had bought it in 1970. I have replaced the original motor with a Honda and replaced the door gasket twice. The second time was just 2 weeks ago with some belt material that bought locally for $60. I did replace the vanes on the pump once at very little cost.

I have a warehouse that used to be a bread bakery. On the left side of the building it has a ramp that drops down so they could load their product through a side door. They would drive down it, load and then drive out the exit end. Old school, but it's mine and now I use it to dump my mud, it dries out and then when the county is doing any work around the area they will use it for fill. It's a win-win situation all around!

We pump the sumps, let the pumper sit for a few days to a week so it settles, then we de-water it at a carwash I own about 3 blocks away, return to the whse and dump it.

I built a single bay platform @ the whse and have an outlet to the area where we dump the mud so we can really clean the pumper out.

I'll shoot some pics next week!

This is where we unload our mud from our Ring-O-Mat! I have a BobCat and every once in awhile We'll push it together and keep turning it til it's dry. Once that's done we can move it outside our gates and the county will take it. On occasion they have taken it before I move it out because they need it for fill in the area!

We had several farmers that used to take it to mix into the soil for their crops. I guess it was for the phosphates in it but they seemed to like it.
