No change given

Having a problem with change. Had to install a new validator a couple weeks back. Same model and brand from Coinco. Even though I have plenty of coins in the hopper, it will not give change back. Customer put in a $10 bill for the $8.00 wash and no coins will be dispensed. Ideas?

Not sure what kind of equip. you have, But start with taking out all the quarters and look for a coin jam. Also recheck connections.
