Not the brightest bulb in the house...another lighting question.

I have 175 MH wall packs that I am trying to get more light output from while trying to save a couple of bucks in the process. I replaced one with this bulb

It worked great but is no brighter than the MH light on the opposite wall. I'm trying to decide between these two. They seem to be my choices that will fit in my Lithonia fixtures

I like the bright white light, but the 5000K shows more lumens than the 6500K. Can someone tell this dim bulb which bulb will be brighter.

If this is one of your washes with extrutech walls and ceiling I would give the 5000k a try. If you look at the CRI on both bulbs they are an 80, while the MH bulbs tend to be 65. The extra 2000 hours on the 5000k bulb as appealing.

Having said that I really like 6500k bulbs. I have 8 of the 100w 6500k bulbs in my basement and I really like the quality of the light. Really bright without much glare.

BTW: I am expecting a full report with pictures :)

The 6500K have a light output similar to mercury vapor (It actually states it has a bluish cast). The 5000K will appear more like incandescent - the output generally looks like more light even with a lower lumens rating.

I'm a bit confused myself that the two bulbs of different color temp have the same CRI.

The salesman at 1000 bulbs said the 5000’s would be the closest match in color to the old MH’s.
