Trying to resuurect an old Coleman Fresh N Vac. It a type I never saw before with 5 buttons in a row across the face . The 3 center butoons for the scents and the outside ones for the Vac. No dispaly timer but an "Omron" controller that has a read "Alarm" light lit up.

Don't know how old it is but it is set for 50 cents. I have some 1 year old units that came set for a $1.00

Anyone have a manual for this?

I am wondering if it would be simpler to pull out the guts and set the faceplate up for 2 $ acceptors, one for vac, and one for air freshener with sperate paraplate timers and a toggle switch for the fragrances.

Coleman used to sell a conversion kit for those old vacs. It came with a new door and timer. Not cheap, but made the vac look much better. I don't know if they still do but it may be worth a call.

You could update it with an IDX display timer which would control both the vac and fragrance at different time lengths. I've always liked the way Fragramatics vacs had switchable pro-rated functions due to the IDX.

I'd have to work out how it was done, but much older Coleman vacs had two timers, two pushbuttons and one coin acceptor, and the customer would deposit money (which would start both timers) and press the desired feature which would activate one timer output and cancel the other.
