I am trying to pick options on a new Razor and was wondering if anyone here as the Spectra Ray + along with the standard Spectra Ray? If I get the wall mounted plus lights, not sure if the on board lights add any enhanced value since I expect the wall lights to cover the whole car. Thoughts? Also, I'm wondering if I should get the cold climate heat/weep package? I am putting it in a bay that currently does not have doors, but I will be adding them along with the machine. It has floor heat, but no radiant heat above. Currently they use weep along with floor heat. I'm thinking weep would only be an insurance policy if I have doors and floor heat, but is it even needed?

I have the cold weather package on my new razor and I really like it. It's just an extra level of assurance that I will be able to wash cars despite cold temperatures. I have floor heat and air lift doors that are vinyl. I have already come in a few mornings and found my weep running which means the rail heat is on too. Customers will still wash the car when it's 9°F outside. the cold weather package pays for itself pretty quickly in peace of mind and throughput on the cold days. I have the Spectraray system but nothing mounted on the walls seems like it's enough and it gives a really good show.

when you're purchasing new equipment I think it's important to think long-term. Yes the options cost extra money for sure, but what you want in the long run is the ability to wash cars continuously and not be hampered by anything. Everything works better when it's warmer in the wash bay. if a door malfunctions, your Cold-weather package protects your large investment and allows your car wash to keep making money for you.

Don't cheap out..get the cold weather package. What happens if a door fails when its 10F outside and you're busy washing cars? Or its 20F outside and your blowing 4" of snow off of car's hoods? Your loading eyes will be iced up. The cold weather package gets you weep and heated rails, loading eyes, and sonar. You need this even with doors.

New Edge owner here. Get Spectra or +, NOT both. Lots of things you can do w/ Spectra Ray or +.
If you're in a cold weather area, get weep & 🔥. As others pointed out, it will pay for itself many times over

Thanks for the advice. I think I was more worried about floor heat quitting than doors, but either could happen. You will never regret peace of mind. I am going to get the Spectra Ray +, no need for the carriage mounted in that case. Will also get Hyper Flex and use that instead of getting FNF.

Even WW ,along w/ owners, told me use the RainBar option (via HyperFlex). Better coverage, a lot less product, & less maintenance.

I'm one of those owners lol. I don't have Hyperflex on mine, but got FNF and used it rain bar style.
