Parker 3/4" checkvalve repair kit

GoBuckeyes

Self-Serve and Automatics
Does anyone know the part number or a source for the big 483-3/4 Parker brass checkvlaves repair kit? Kleen-Rite sells one for $38 that only includes the parts you don't need, the o-ring and teflon seal for the cap. The part that wears out is the poppet with the attached, non replaceable o-ring.

MEP I agree. I have several of the Parkers which are in great shape minus the poppet seal. They're great checkvalves but I would never buy one for $360. I will also never buy another Fluid Controls checkvalve like you linked to, especially not for anything critical. I used to be standardized on those but they're junk now. If the ****ty plastic poppet retainer doesn't break on you, the screw will let go releasing everything downstream. For $10 more I have switched to the General 3/4" check. Construction is night and day between it and the Fluid Controls.
