PDQ Tandem Vertical Brush

All,

looking for a vertical brush for my tandem rite touch. My brushes bristles were scythed off on a sharp rusty fender and now it’s way out of balance.

New one is a lot more expensive than I thought. Just scanning for options, seeing if anyone knows of used one or alternative brand part # that might work.

Maybe you can try contacting Erie or Universal or Gallop. They might have replacement options for that brush.

Hi Dick,

if it seems out of balance, it may be your shaft that is attached to your brush. Best to take the brush off the shaft and then spin the shaft in the gearbox using the remote command, if it’s not perfectly straight while spinning, it’s out of balance and you need a new shaft, and the brush may be fine. 9/10 times this is what happened to us.

We just had to change a shaft and the orange buffers because someone left a big hitch in their truck…the brush caught it and bent the shaft.
