Plastic trim

This car belongs to a friend of mine and the plastic trim got roughed up in a house scrape. I can take care of the paint, but do not know how to approach the black plastic trim. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't think you can fix that other than sanding the scratches as smooth as possible and painting it. I'd replace it.

If you are talking about the black plastic trim on the bottom you could use a cerecoat product to dress it up and hide the scratches.

Those are some bad scratches. I'd like to see if something can hide them.
