Mep1,
You posted, but I couldn't find it, about poly vacuum bags for replacement in Doyle or J E Adams vacs instead of the cotton bags. Were those KleenRite # VAC200 that fit the Coleman vacs, or some other number?

Kleenrite doesn't sell them. I just purchased a bunch for my Fragramatics vacs from Doyle Vacs. They fit perfectly.

Mep, that's the thread. Are the VAA8074 bags the thin poly or they the standard cotton? Not having to unhook them from the top will sure make weekly cleaning easier.

Big, is Doyle still in business?

They're a thin material but not poly. It seems like a poly/cotton blend, but it's not the thick material like the Fragramatics bags and doesn't trap dirt. I had some of the Doyle poly bags but they didn't filter well. The top area of the tank would get exremely dusty, and it stays clean now.

I used some stainless keychain hooks on the top of the tank in place of the eyelet bolts and screws. It's nice to be able to change the bags without taking off the dome or having to reach up into the cleanout door.

I'll try some VAA8074 bags and see how they work, especially, with Doyle being hard to get parts/service from.
