Powdered Wheel Cleaner

Anyone ever tried a powder for wheel/tire cleaning? Our detail shop uses a high ph wheel/tire cleaner that works well.

I mix a powder and liquid to get the results I want. It works so well that I can take off one one of the aluminum wheels from my truck and clean off 14 years of brake dust with a soft nylon brush and minimal effort. Neither product by itself will do the job.

It's not caustic and won't etch paint or wheels.
