Folks,
I have an IBA with 5 SS bays. I installed doors on my IBA this past year and used them successfully through the winter. However, I noticed this spring/summer that I was getting cracks and chips in the pre-cast roof on the interior of the bay. I can't verify that the excess moisture in the bay, due the new doors, was the cause.
My question is: It there a way to curb this deterioration? A product I can apply to the ceiling in the bay to protect it from heavy moisture and the IBA environment? Right now I am chippin loose concrete and spraying the affected area with a silicone spray for protecting. Kind of new to this, so thoughts and advice are appreciated.
