What is your preference when it comes to your presoak. I have one location where the presoak covers the car so good that you can't see the paint of the car even when the second pass of presoak starts. My other site the presoak covers good but you can see the car paint when the second pass starts. Does the thicker, foamier presoak clean the car better by staying on the car or does the runnier one clean just as well?

I like to run my presoak heavy and rich. I use an economical blend of Simoniz products that I mix myself, so I really load it on the car. It looks good and does a nice job.

It depends on the strength of the presoak. The important thing is which cleans better with the lowest cost? I could never get a thick cover from the Belanger Vector because of lack of adjustment. Even with the presoak dosing pump at full and the water pump at slowest it's still pretty wet.

I know everyone wants to see foam, but any soap forming a bubble is not touching the surface. How much difference that makes, I couldn't tell you. Just food for thought.

Thick enough to occlude drivers vision, but thin enough to ensure good consistent coverage with no dry spots. I like to see it dripping just a little off the rocker panels
