Presoak tilt options

I am tired of the presoak tilt sticking on me and am ready to do something about it. Things I have done already:

air dryer and oiler to air on WW 2.0

Things I am considering:

Newer/better air solenoids - anyone know of any?
removing the tilt function and putting in 2 directional nozzles - anyone tried it?
different solenoids - not sure what if I could use for this?

any other ideas or has someone found a good low maintenance solution? Thanks

Russ

Are you sure you don't have an issue with the tilt cylinder that is in the top of the gantry? Have you ever lubricated it? There is a little hole in the rod end of the cylinder for lubrication. Also there is a rod end on it that could be worn out. Also there is a rod that runs vertically in the front corner of the gantry that needs to be lubed. The rod could have slop in it. I would check the entire tilting mechanism.

I just noticed one of mine yesterday was stuck.

Maybe we could find a cylinder with stainless internals.

BTW, a friend of mine sourced that tilt cylinder for around $30 at motion industries.
