I don't live in the US and I am thinking of buying a touchless. The options I have (due to dealership) are Mark7 GT-300 or PDQ Laserwash. The exchange rate is very good for me at the moment so I think it's the right time to buy. However, I don't want to be #$&% by the dealers. Therefore I need some US$ prices for the machines. I know that transport, duty, tax, installation, etc., etc. comes on top but this would give me at least a rough idea.
Anyone out there who can give me some price guidance on those machines?
Thanks.

At first I was a little surprised that no one had supplied any pricing info . To me this is real good info. While at the recent show, the range of prices that I heard of dealers selling automatics was more than unusual. It is a free market, sort of, so they are sold for whatever the guy can get. How about some numbers here for this guy?

Here is one of the Ryko distributors in Australia:http://www.goodsight.com.au/products.php?c=touchless
the other one is called AUSTRALIA ROBO WASH (HK) LTD
Either one can be found on the Ryko web site with phone numbers.
These are Ryko machines set up to work outside the US with all of the correct motor voltages, transformers and power supplies, ect. You can call them for a quote and if you would like to compare what the same wash would cost in the US, I can get numbers from our salesman after you have decided on the exact machine/options from your distributor.

Well crap, from what I have heard there are some really good Manufacturers offering Automatics with good options and dryers for around $70,000. This is just information passed over the internet. I am not a Distributor, so bargain for your best deal.

So around US$70,000 is the price for a touchless. That gives me an idea. Thanks a lot.:)

Keep in mind that you can get a touchless for 70K, it nost likely won't be from Mark7 or PDQ, unless it's a used one. It's the other manufacturers that have them for that price.

Mac, I definitely agree with you, but there are at least 3 really good choices that will do the job as good or better than any, possibly have no or fewer proprietary parts and good tech support. That is at least my observation.

Check out Washworld. Not sure if they are available for you, but damn I was impressed with their inverted L machine at the ICA show in Orlando.

Be sure to get everything on the machine that you want. Some of the higher priced machines come with features that are options on some of the lower priced machines. The real cost comparison comes when you check item by item to make sure you are comparing equipment with the same features. Ultimately as many have said, choose the best distributor with the best price. Money you might save buying equipment from a bad distributor may be lost in repair and maintainence bills and the business you lose due to down time.

I also like the Washworld machine but I guess the dealership is the most important part of that machine...
So, to get it to the point:
How much is a MarK7 Gt-300 and a PDQ Laserwash with all options fully installed in the US? All without the entry system and dryer.
Would $80,000 buy me one of those machines brand new fully installed?
If you prefer not to publish this here I would also appreciate a private email (if that's okay with Bill).
Thanks a lot, guys.
Cheers JustClean

I would think that with the number of PDQ owners on this site, that some would post what it costs. The rumors that I heard at the show, but from reliable sources, gave me some really high numbers that SOME guys charge for these. Putting a 50K price on top of retail is something that I hear about. Maybe seeing the normal retail here will keep others from being gouged. Let me start by mentioning the price on Magic Wand's new inverted L automatic. With blowers, RO, and trifoam, it's just shy of 80K, without freight or installation.

Tansparent pricing is always important. If you vist www.belangerinc.com you will find a "Build-a-Wash" program for both of Belanger's in-bay automatics. This program allows you to build your machine with the options you desire, while revealing the MSRP.

Off topic, but rapidly escalating water, chemical, electricity, and sewer rates have caused concern for me. Touchless will be more expensive to run. Just food for thought.
