Pricing of IBA Packages

Looking to add a paystation with (4) upsell buttons. - Bug & Salt / Wheel and Tire Cleaner / Armorall - etc. - I am in a market with (1) tunnel and now one being built - I need to remain competitive.

The new tunnel is said to be offering a free vac system - will most likely vend a free vac token on my higher washes. Should I vend this token on all my wash's? In addition - how are IBA price packages being considered? I will have the option to promote (4) packages - currently at 5,7,9, 10 with an IBA that does not do a good job - upgrading - tome means also upgrading my pricing.. Do I start at 8.00 for my low package? Up to what? Any recommendations would be great.

I don't think $8 is too much for a bottom wash - it depends on your market, but a $5 to $8 increase is a big bump for a bottom wash. A $3 jump in the basic wash is pretty big unless you will be offering more on the basic wash with your new menu.

Hard to way what you charge without knowing specifics about the packages and competitor pricing and the market you are in.

There is a new tunnel going in.. so I will have (2) tunnels to compete with - the current tunnel is selling (4) packages - 7, 11, 14, 16 with up sells of tire shine and wheel cleaner.

The new tunnel is going to offer free vacs - from what I hear - would probably vend a free token on my top two or three wash's for extra services at the wash.
