We currently are you using Vantiv (formerly Mercury Pay) for card processing at our one double IBA. I am considering switching to Priority Payment Systems. We have two older Unitec Portals that will need to be upgraded to the tune of $3000-3500 for the both of them to do so. With Vantiv we are paying roughly 3.9% all in. PPS says they charge a $35 mo/fee, $.06 per transaction plus .0025% over the card fees. Hard to know exactly what that's going to work out to, although I'm told it should be less than Vantiv. Is anyone using them that can share what your 'all in' rate is. Hoping to shave about 1% off and recoup upgrade cost over the next year.

I haven't pulled the trigger on this yet but am getting close. Is there no one using Priority Payment Systems that is willing to share their all in fee percentage??

I am a little late to this conversation buy I have been using Priority Payment Systems for about a year or so. Our all in rate is running right at 3.8%. This is tied primarily to one IBA with a Unitec Wash Select II. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Info. That’s essentially what we’re running now with Vantiv/Worldpay. The guy at PPS said we should end up around the low 3’s at our current volume, so between his estimate and your experience it’s not exactly the savings I was hoping for.
Regardless, we may not be doing anything now. I went to order the Portal upgrade today which 1) would have allowed us to use PPS and 2) provided some additional database backup abilities/upgrades. But instead of the $3100 for the pair of upgrades I was told someone misquoted something and it is actually $22,000. Really!! No thank you.
