Is anyone else having problems with brass breakaways for SS wands? I usually buy them 6 at a time and they'll last me about 6-8 months. I had 6 of them break in the last week. I asked Windtrax if they were getting complaints and they said No. I just received more from Kleen-rite to see if there is a difference. They look the same. We don't have any ice in the wheel wells at this time.

Do you have flexable wands?
No, but I've never had them. It just really seems odd that when I normally would have one breakaway fail per month and then have six break in a week. Thought maybe a new order of fittings had a flaw.

I would look for a disgruntled customer. I went with flex wands years ago and have not had any problems.

china look a like

yes we have had the same problem with some that i bought at kleen-rite several years back and they did tell me that they were from china but they ordered me some of the original ones from Jack Adams since then they have only bought from Jack Adams so they should be the good ones the bad ones would break at the thread not at the notched area of the break a way
