Programming Tokenotes

Just got my tokenotes in and need to get them programmed asap. I got the manual from Hamilton, but it is not very clear how I to program them in my ACW 4 with an XE validator. Anyone have any suggestions?

Since i didn't see any replies i'll tell you what i remember about programming them. I think all the dip switches on validator were suppose to go towards the door, and then run a clear all coupon, then training coupon one to be followed by your 2 or 6 tokenote, then training coupon two and the other tokenote . then put all the dip switches back to where they were. Then i think in the computer you were suppose to value each coupon. Hope that helps a little.

A tokenote value will have one dollar amount. You can have several tokenotes that give out the same value. Coupon Discounts are where you enter up to 4 different values. The tricky thing of programing the token notes is that you first move the DIP switches as noted earlier. Then insert a tokenote followed by the training coupon. The tokenote is put in first followedby the training coupon. YOu can program all 4 coupon discounts with different vavlues. After training the bill acceptor to recognize the coupons then you have to go into the programing of the controller toset values for each coupon.

Thanks guys, I wasn't able to get it done last night seeing as how a torrential rainstorm came through. Looks like I will have to tackle it on Thursday when I get back from Philadelphia. I will let everyone know how it ends up!
