ProPack Spot Free machine making noise

My ProPack spot free machine from Huron Valley Sales makes a funny noise when the "proflush" kicks on to wash down the membranes. It sounds like a cavitation and really pulses the hose going from the procom pump to the first membrane. I don't remember it making this noise before, but the proflush doesn't run all the time so I may miss it most days. Does anyone else have this system and does it make this kind of noise? When I remove the hose from the procom pump, it quits and really pumps the water fine so I think the pump is ok. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Lighthouse

It shouldn't make noise during the flush, but it doesn't make sense that the noise goes away when you disconnect the hose. At least that says it's probably not cavitation.

Check the solenoid valve that opens to bypass the pressure regulator when the system is in flush mode. Maybe its not opening completely or the timer that controls it is bad.

Bypass valve? I will have to study things to see where that is even located. I'm tempted to call Huron Valley, but not sure if they have a tech support hotline or not. Guess it won't hurt to call.

Thanks,
