pump help

I posted a similar question a couple months ago but unfortunately, it didn't turn up the results I was hoping it would. I figured I would give it another shot! Does anyone know if a Hypro pump would work for self serve washing? I am not very familiar with it at all but my neighbor said he had one so I wanted to confirm that it would work for that use without damaging anything. If so, I found this SpraySmarter place that has the hypro pump but I don't normally buy stuff online. Can someone let me know if they have ever bought anything from that website before? I would like to hear a review first. Thanks for all the information you can offer me!

I have used Hypro pumps but find them to be more expensive and not as durable as a Cat or Armitsu pump.

So you like the Armitsu pumps? I've been wondering about them. I use Hypro in all my self serve bays, and yes, they are expensive. Windtrax says they don't carry parts for them, so I was leary about switching. I live in the same area as them, so use them for all my parts for everything else. Where do you buy your Armitsu parts at? Or are they that good that you don't need to fix them? :)

Jeff and others, if you look at the bottom of the thread/page you will see "Similar Threads" and in this case you will see the previous discussion on the pumps.

Kleenrite carries parts for Arimitsu Pumps. I switched out my Cat 820 for an Arimitsu 508 several years ago and have been very pleased. It runs quieter and smoother than the Cat. The Cat 820 was really hard on regulator/unloaders, I had to replace yearly. The Arimitsu is still on the same regulator after 2+ years.

Thanks Bill, one of the links provided some information which was useful. Forgot those ticklers were down there.

I have replaced 2 Cat 310's with Armitsu 318's about a year ago. They do run quieter and have not had to do anything to them as yet. I get them from a local car wash supplier here in Houston.

I have 20+ Arimitsu in service at my washes, wouldn't own anything else. I have been weeding out the Cats as they need repairs. I am down to two 5CPs at one wash which will be gone next spring.

Yeh in the last thread I didnt get what I was looking for. I will remember that in the future. Thanks.
So what were you looking for? A review of the site? We tend to order car wash equipment from car wash suppliers, not agricultural suppliers.

The site you posted doesn't carry any pumps for "self serve washing." It seems more like you're spamming for a business with which you're associated considering you list your location as being very, very close to this business.
