I am looking to replace a Coinco bill validator (MC2600 series no longer supported by Coinco) and was intrigued by Pyramid's Aqua series. I found little information about them other than the flurry of activity surrounding the launch of the product in 2012. The videos of them shooting water in them and still working are impressive, but true field experience is much more valuable.
Coinco tells me they are no longer making the 24 volt Vantage bill acceptor (still making 110 v)which had some wet environment protections/features. so I thought I had better start looking around.
What are you hearing about the Pyramid Aqua series or what has your experience been?
