Ok guys talk me off the ledge.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist in that I like to build things that don't break/need maintenance. I have the standard 403b dema injector off of a KIP solenoid tree. My water is boosted by a pump. Between the pressure and flow issues, the gumming of the solenoid tree from random shampoos or the random "stocking open" of the solenoids from debris.

I'm sick of it. I have 5 washes and let my employees handle a lot, but frankly this system is mostly over their head. I'd say every 9 months i have to go adjust or diagnose a problem there, because my employees would waste 5 hours and probably break more stuff than they would fix.

SO.... i'm thinking of building a dosatron direct feed system for each chemical (I don't have room for water tanks in the back room so hydrominder/hydroflex systems won't really work)... the dosatrons will cost me a lot of money, but i think they will be less problematic/easier for my employees to fix. I'll probably do a home-run to a central manifold close to the spray nozzle to slow down any delay of product switching over (one good side of the dema injector system)

Am I crazy for spending the money on 6 dosatrons? The dog wash has been there for 11 years, it doesn't kill it, but it does pay for its space.

Is there a better way that I am not thinking of...??

I'd start by finding products that don't gum up in the solenoid tree. A good strainer should stop the solenoids from "stocking open" from debris.

Maybe its the chemicals your using. It sounds like you have the same system I do and I have had a couple injector problems, but never had an issue with the solenoid tree. I did switch the injector out to a 1/8" 201C injector to get more draw. I am using blendco products in the petwash.

I also forgot to mention that sometimes i'll get debris in the teflon ball and spring which will slow down or stop the 203b from working until i fix it.

I've used Kleen rite and Blendco both, but right now i'm using kleen rite. Like i said above i'm only messing with it about 3 times every 2 years, but ask me the last time I had to mess with my foam brush system in my SS bays. I just want to build a better/more hassle free delivery system. And I'm wondering if someone has a better idea than dosatrons in a room with no water tanks.
