Refurbished vendors available

Over the past few years we have been able to obtain a few older vendors that we can update with the latest electronics and parts so they will operate just like a new machine. These used machines are very hard to find anywhere, so it has been sometime since we have had any of these vendors available. We recently took an older Hi-Security ShurVend “51” machine as a trade-in on a new Hi-Security ShurVend “51” package containing the new electronics. This vendor package is now listed in the “Classifieds” section of the AutoCareForum.

We just have just been contacted by a person that has 3-4 vendors, so we can offer these to car wash operators priced at 50-60% of the cost of a new vendor package. We can install these used vendors (even if they have a few dents or scratches) into a new security cage so the customer does not see any of these blemishes. They will operate just like a new machine and have a 3 year warranty on the new electronics.

Vendor Sold !!

The High Security Shurvend "51" that was listed in the Classifieds on this Forum has been SOLD!!! I hope there is someone else that wanted to buy it, but just hadn't "pulled the trigger". But don't give up!! Out of the blue I got a call from a vending company that had 2 of these AMS vendors become available. I picked them up on Friday so they will be available for sale in the coming weeks.

The only difference between these newer "used" machines is the security cages will be new and the color of the security cage can be chosen by the buyer. (It does not have to be red like the one in the ad) The electronics will be the latest S-3 version with a 3 year warranty.

I do not have any at the present time. The only ones I get are trade-ins from customers that want to upgrade their vending machines with one of the newer, better looking models with all the new "bells and whistles" Most of our customers that want to upgrade an older vendor do so with a conversion kit for the electronics that run the vendor and install our new LED conversion kits that replace all the old lights. They can do this for about $750 per vendor and have an up-to-date machine that will work for many years.

I have tried to buy older vendors on the open market, but the costs are so high to convert them to the new electronics and security cage that it is a better value for you to buy a new VendPro-iG4 32-selection machine that is all brand new. It may cost you a few hundred dollars more, but it is available anytime whereas refurbished vendors are few and far between. The footprint on the VendPro-iG4 is smaller too.
